- We measured soil temperatures using Onset HOBO dataloggers placed 5 cm beneath the soil surface in control and warmed plots. Temperatures in 4e5 experimental blocks were recorded every 30 min during 3 growing seasons: May 13-September 18, 2006; May 10-September 18, 2007; and May 30-September 15, 2008.
